My name is Seth Williamson and I am humbled to be part of what God is doing here in McKinney, TX. I grew up in Virginia but moved to Texas in 2016. I am married to my lovely and talented wife Shannon and we have one daughter named Emma. I love to cook, fish, travel, and entertain guests. God called me into ministry when I was 15 years old and immediately gave me a passion for bringing the unchurched into God’s family. I have spent many years studying the Bible and Theology at places like Liberty University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Trinity School for Ministry. We have diligently prepared to plant a new church that is capable of reaching the unchurched while glorifying God and we are so excited to see what God will do!
We chose McKinney for a number of reasons. The main reason is because the first time I visited this city I felt a connection to it. In many ways it reminded me of home. The Holy Spirit was at work. Soon I discovered that the facts on the ground matched my feeling. McKinney is the 4th fastest growing city in America. People from all over the world are moving here for a better life and we hope to bring them into the best life through a relationship with Jesus. Half the county considers itself non-religious but we know from many studies that most Americans still see the Church as a positive good for the world and are open to talking about faith and spirituality.
